Nurturing & transforming lives by creating art together

If the world is to be healed through human
efforts, I am convinced it will be by ordinary
people, people whose love for this life is even
greater than their fear. - Joanna Macy

Summer 2010                                                                                   Somerville, MA
Dear hand in hand arts friends!

The Summer is Hot and here and I love it!
I've been creatively busy with Art camp at The Eliot School in JP. I've been sewing colorful matters, sending snail mail and enjoying the time off from teaching full time.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer as well. If you are working inside this summer, make sure to hang out in nature a bit, even for a couple minutes a day. Take in the moment, the sounds and feel the summer soaking into your skin and soul.

Also if you can, donate to The National Wildlife Fed. (link on the top of this page (R) ). or check out the drawings that Olivia has been doing for the Gulf oil spill cause.

I'd love to hear what's going on in your part of the planet. Send snail mail or e-mail. On a snail mail note, I'll be moving in August, drop me an e-mail if you would like my new address.

Much peace, warmth (not to hot!), and joy this summer.

Krowka and I volunteer almost every Monday! It's been amazing for me, krowka and the folks we visit. Some say it's the highlight of their week and I would have to say it might be mine as well. Check out the program if you have a pet or know or one that might like to bring amazing joy to folks lives.
