Dear
hand in hand arts friends!
It's already mid February, 2010, it's snowing outside and I just got back from a very powerful exhibition at Tufts University called: Questions Without Answers. It is very intense but I feel if more people saw those type of graphic images there would not be as much violence we see in this world. On the other end of War we have Peace! and I urge everyone of you to sign up for the Global Art Project! Today! I've been a part of it for a few years now and it is wonderful. You create art and are matched up with other folks making art in another part of the world and you send your art to each other! If you also live in the area, please check out Paws for a little Love, a photo fabric collage show of Krowka (my cat ) volunteering at The Cambridge Homes. The show will be up until early March. As the days get a bit longer and the my students seeds start to peak to see the sunshine, it gives me hope. Hope for peace, hope for newness, hope for joy, hope for understanding and hope for lots of art! The Gifford School where I teach Art had a huge fire in December 09' and my job has not been the same since or have the students. It's amazing how much a ritual when changed ( where we have class, where we walk, what we create with materials) effects all the ripples of your day. I have hope though that this spring will bring more ritual and creativeness to us all. If you would like to donate to the rebuilding of the Fenn Center, any amount, we would be grateful for. Take care my friends and do let me know what creative projects you are up to these days around the world! Thanks for all your support during this hard winter season. Much peace, joy and sunshine and as SARK says: "Live Your Succulent Wild Life! Laura Evonne Steinman
"She's (Krówka's) as soft as a cotton
ball"
![]() Match-up Interfaith Pet Pals Volunteers I've
been volunteering with Krowka in Cambridge for over a year now!
It's been amazing for me, krowka and the folks we visit.
Some say it's the highlight of their week and I would have to say it
might be mine as well. Check out the program if you have a pet or know
or one that might like to bring amazing joy to folks lives.
